Testing out the "ultimate facial" on the Synergie - Elite Triple Combo!  A machine that does:  FACIAL VACUUM MASSAGE, MICRODERMABRASION, LIGHT THERAPY (BLUE AND RED RAYS) + BODY VACUUM MASSAGE FOR CELLULITE REDUCTION!  

I met w. my esthetician, Barb - was amazing - a wealth of knowledge and so very sweet!

barb explained the "ultimate facial" to me and i sign the standard waiver.

the demonstration  began with a cleanse.  doesn't every skin care treatment being that way?  LOL!  next she performed a very light facial vacuum massage - which felt AMAZING!  not only did it feel great, barb, informed me that my face was getting a great shade of pink indicating that my skin was becoming flushed with lots of nutrient rich, fresh blood and lymphatic fluid that would help to build collagen.  ( oh - by the way - get used to the word collagen - BARB - was all about COLLAGEN!!!!!)  

next - barb did the micodermabrasion, it consisted of vertical passes, followed by a series of  horizontal pass. -  O M G!  i can't believe these words are came out of my mouth, i tell you this with shame!  "i had to ask her to turn down the strength of the crystal flow!"  this baby can crank out a micro!  i know that a microdermabrasion treatment that is really aggressive can expose some beautiful, fresh skin.  it' cuts down on the crow's feet, it evens out the tone, it makes your skin more luminous (makes it shine ;-).....).  the down side, the new skin is a little tender for the first few hours after the treatment.

BUT...........

now for the creme' de la creme'!  the light therapy AKA photo-rejuvenation.  it's not hocus pocus - i swear!  here's some technical info.  over the years it has been proven to increases ATP synthesis which accelerates collagen production!  collagen is the serum in your body that helps to heal!  it's also what keeps the skin tight!  bottom line. i didn't feel a thing, AND, after a very, very aggressive microdermabrasion - i had NO post treatment stinging which can be common with a very aggressive microdermabrasion.
