At first, the sound of a Microdermabrasion machine didn’t sound very enjoyable or relaxing. I was slightly nervous about the treatment because I was told it’s a combination of microdermabrasion and an acid peel - but decided to go for it! I quickly realized that I had nothing to be tense about. Kate made the entire treatment enjoyable and very relaxing. I tried not to fall asleep but kept dozing off. I think I even snored a little at one point.
Needless to say, I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
My skin felt and looked great!
The effects are lingering and I think my skin has improved over the last week and looks even better.

I wanted to tell you that my face is glowing and it feels so clean, smooth, and firm. Last night after I washed my face, I applied 3 drops of the serum, and it burned, but then I applied the moisturizer and my cooled down and this morning it was so radiant. After I washed my face and applied the moisturizer and sunscreen (that was in the gift set) I only applied a little blush and my face is still smooth, firm, moist and supple. I did not experience any redness later on in the day like I used to with previous microdermabrasion treatments, so far, so good. Thank you Kate, as always, you never disappoint.

The first part of the facial felt very strange at first, but by the end of the treatment it was relaxing - just a light kneading sensation over my face. Immediately after the facial, I didn't notice any difference. I was floored when I woke up the next morning. I tend to sleep on my stomach with my face completely mashed into my pillow so I usually have very distinct creases when I wake up. I had none of that this morning. My skin feels a lot tighter and firmer. I’ve had a swollen lymph gland in my neck for a while it hasn't gone down completely, but it's definitely smaller now. The new microderm machine definitely felt more aggressive at first, but my skin feels and looks so much better. My skin feels stronger too, like it wouldn't be as irritated by more concentrated products or make-up. Don't worry though, I'm not going to mess with a good thing and I'll continue with my regular regiment. I can't believe how effective the light treatment was. I usually have blotchiness for a day or two after getting microderm. I had none when I left the spa yesterday. I thought the treatment might be a short-term fix, and I'd be blotchy today but I'm not. The discoloration from the few current blemishes looks like it will fade away in a few more days. Before my skin would take weeks to heal like this. The whole facial from start to finish was amazing. I just wish I could have seen the results immediately because my initial reaction was very blah, and I didn't want to leave Kate feeling disappointed. I hope you get some more positive feed back. I'm thrilled with the results!
